A manufacturer almost never discovers on its own that it must publish EPDs. It learns of it from a distributor passing on a client request, from a professional organisation alerting its members, from a design office that needs data to cost a project, or from a tender it has just lost. That is why we work with those who are upstream of this demand.
Laboratory · BerlinAn environmental analysis laboratory and industrial consultancy based in Berlin, bringing together expertise in engineering, regulation, ESG strategy and recycling.
A partnership that works both ways. When a manufacturer does not have access to its own product data, Terraquota dismantles the equipment in its laboratory, identifies the materials and records the mass of each part, then sends us the bill of materials reconstructed in this way. Conversely, when Terraquota receives a formal request for an environmental declaration from a client, it passes it on to us for the production of its EPDs.
A response to give clients who request an environmental declaration, without having to master the programme operators’ methodological frameworks or the submission process.
The absence of data is no longer an obstacle. An old product, subcontracted manufacturing, a supplier that does not provide its bill of materials: the physical reconstruction of the bill of materials in the laboratory makes it possible to start the LCA where documentary collection is blocked.
BIM platformA collaborative platform for BIM data and objects, used by manufacturers to distribute their product catalogues to architects, design offices and BIM managers.
A library enriched with verified environmental data, on equipment families where it is still rare.
Their declaration does not remain a PDF filed on a regulatory database: it becomes data visible where architects and design offices choose their equipment. The EPD moves from a compliance obligation to a specification asset.
DistributorA professional distributor of electrical equipment. Member of the PEP Ecopassport programme.
Rexel has relied on Qweeko since 2022 to respond to the environmental data requests from its industrial clients and its suppliers. Rexel identifies the need and puts us in touch; we support the manufacturer through to the publication of its declaration. We also contributed to the Rexel France white paper on calculating the carbon footprint of refurbished equipment.
An operational response to give its suppliers and clients without bringing LCA expertise in-house, and environmental data that can be used directly in its catalogues and its tender responses.
Access to Qweeko through a trusted channel, and the assurance that the declaration produced will be immediately usable by their distributor.
Professional organisationA professional organisation created in 1925, bringing together around fifty French and European companies: light sources, indoor and outdoor luminaires, power supply components, detection and management systems. Member of the PEP Ecopassport programme.
The trade association identifies and references, for its members, solutions that address their industrial challenges, including environmental declarations. Qweeko was selected on this matter. We provide members with training sessions on LCA and EPD, as well as dedicated pricing terms on our offers.
A concrete response to give its members on a regulatory and commercial matter that concerns them all, without having to develop this expertise in-house.
Members build up their skills through training even before committing to a project, and gain access to collectively negotiated terms. As the association’s scope also covers detection and management systems, its members fall under several distinct methodological frameworks, which we already master.
Professional organisationA professional organisation created in 1818, bringing together 106 companies including 65 French luminaire manufacturers and 41 importers. Member of the PEP Ecopassport programme.
Same logic as for the Syndicat de l’Éclairage: the trade association references, for its members, solutions that address their challenges, including environmental declarations, and Qweeko was selected on this matter. Members benefit from training sessions on LCA and EPD and from dedicated pricing terms.
A concrete response to give its members, manufacturers and importers alike, on a requirement that now conditions access to certain markets.
A significant proportion of members are importers: they do not manufacture and therefore have no control over their product data. This is precisely the case where our partnership with Terraquota makes it possible to reconstruct the bill of materials through physical measurement and unlock the process.
Distributors, professional organisations, publishers and platforms, design offices, LCA consultancies: you are upstream of environmental demand, without being equipped to respond to it.
